High Protein Costco Finds: Lazy Girl Edition

We alllllll love a good Costco run!

I’ll be the first to admit that I only started going for the free food samples😂

But it’s no new news that Costco has some great deals with their bulk selection of foods.

And since we are heavy on the protein for gains here… and fat loss too realistically..

Let’s go over some awesome high protein finds at Costco that require little cooking and/or make your life easier!

Real Good Foods

This is a company I’ve been eating a lot lately. They have a solid selection of frozen/refrigerated foods that are high in protein such as their lightly breaded chicken fingers/nuggets, enchiladas, burritos, and much more.

I’ve heard pretty mixed reviews on people liking their foods/not liking them so I guess it is really personal preference but I tend to like most of their foods.

One thing I’ve been doing lately is air frying their breaded chicken strips and then mixing hot sauce and walden farms 0 calorie ranch dressing to use as dipping sauce.

The chicken is only 160 calories and 23g of protein so super solid on the calorie/protein ratio.

The dipping sauce I make is also 0 calories so a good low calorie, high protein snack or meal.

Kevin’s Natural Foods

Another company I’ve really been loving is Kevins. They have pre-packaged/cooked meats that are flavored and pair well with pasta or rice & veggies.

I’ve been using these as the base for a lot of my meals and/or meal preps lately as they only take 5 minutes to heat up and prep.

They are good on the calories, macros and taste. Generally around 180 calories and 23g of protein per serving.

One thing I really like about them is that they use clean ingredients in their meals.

Banza Chickpea Pasta

This Banza chickpea pasta pairs super well with the Kevin’s prepackaged meals to make a whole meal.

Only 190 calories and 11g protein per serving.

Canned Tuna

Much. Cheaper. Than. The. Grocery. Store.

That is all.

Amylu Chicken Sausage

I bought these Asiago chicken sausage there which are amazing for meal prep and they also taste amazing.

Only 120 calories and 14g of protein per sausage.

Turkey Burgers

Can’t go wrong with a turkey burger.

240 calories and 30g protein per burger.

Starbucks Egg Bites

These are delicious and easy to take on the go in the mornings!

280 calories, 17g protein per serving (2 egg bites).

Chicken Skewers

Super easy to heat up and add to meal prep or make a quick meal.

150 calories, 24g per serving.

Turkey Jerky

Make a great on the go snack!

80 calories, 10g protein, 7g sugar per serving.

Protein Shakes

I like both Premier Protein and Fairlife for quick/on the go protein shakes.

150-160 calories, 30g of protein, 1-2g sugar.

Greek Yogurt

I prefer Oikos Tripe Zero Blended Greek over Chobani but they have both options at Costco!

110-120 calories, 15g protein, 6g sugar.

Meats/Poultry/Seafood/Eggs/Egg Whites

Since Costco packages everything in large portions, it usually comes at a discounted rate!

This is a great place to buy bases for meal prep if you want to prepare your own base instead of buying something pre packaged which is the healthier option (just more work generally).

Conclusion

Next time you take a run to your local Costco, remember to pull up this post and buy some of these gems!

You’ll never miss your protein goal this way.

Until next time,

Coach Emily
